Samsung Side By Side Refrigerator RS267LASH

Samsung side by side refrigerator model RS267LASH which is now 4.5 year old. The freezer works fine but fridge keeps getting warm.

Its difficult getting repair companies to make service call. Samsung is hard to work on.

The company that did respond has 2 repair technician working on it for 3 hours and finally they left without repairing the unit. I am unsure if we will ever see them again. At this time i would not recommend samsung products.

We bought this on 2007 and now there was water leaking through the fridge. We called the customer service they gave us a technician Phone number he changed the sensor and charged us 215 dollars for that way too much. Samsung will not cover this hoping it will work fine.

Freezer Works.. Fridge is warm.

Having the same problems as everyone else on this page. Purchased the fridge 4.5 yrs ago and the refrigerator maintains 50-65 deg F. Had a repair completed - Cost $181 dollars to replace the Defrost sensor. 1.5 wks later... same problem. I just bought a new refrigerator. Not a samsung.

Purched this one in 2006. Summer of 2011 it goes out on me, both freezer and frig. Unpluged from the wall waited 10-min. pluged back in the penal re-set itself. week in a half later same thing.
keeping all my reciepts, love to be in the class action suit.

Samsung refrigerator not cooling

I have had this unit, rs267lash, for 4.5 years and the coil is frozen completely solid, temp will not go below 58. I have researched this issue and a class action law suit is in progress over this design issue. Customer service(cs) has been a total joke. First company never responded that cs had me call. Called cs back and they took 15 minutes to give me the SAME company number! waited another day, not a single call back from this service center that was located 1.5 hours away. Called cs again and demanded another company to deal with. The service call alone was $125 due to them being an over an hour away and the tech told me that I should turn it off for 12 hours because he already new that it was frozen solid and they could nothing while in that condition. HORRIBLE COMPANY - Taking to DUMP.

I have had my fridge about 5 years and the frezer is fine but my fridge is just not cold. The temp it about 50 and 3 house calls and $430.00 later it is still 50 degress! Ready to get a new one! NOT A SAMSUNG!

Warm fridge

I have one of these beasts and it finally took a strange turn. The ice maker has stopped producing and the fridge is running between 60 and 38 at any particular time of day whether you open the door or not. I had the sears "Blue Crew" out and they want to sell me a main control board. What I am reading online about this product is that the control board may not be the only problem. They want $385.00 or so to repair it. Then want to sell me a warranty program for $173.00. per year. I went and looked at the other units of the same size and they are $1800 AND UP. I about $2300 for mine and feel it should have lasted at least 10 or so year. I hate I have to concede to a $200.00 per year agreement for this thing as it will be like renting a a cold turd. Does anybody know where I can get parts for this or even recommend a better unit? Please advise...

samsung is still in the last century and doesn't provide online manuals for service techs. this is part of the problem.

the rest of the problem is poor engineering of the defrost circuitry. one part or another goes on it and shuts down the circulation fan for the fridge compartment.

if manufacturers made it easier for techs to get info, your 3 hour service call would've ended with a repair fridge.

may i suggest a nasty letter to samsung and a visit to your local better business bureau? there is also a class action suit against samsung regarding this fridge and other products. it might be worth your while to check it out. classactionlawsuitsinthenews.com
