Samsung French Door Refrigerator # RF267ABRS - ice maker leaks water before giving "crushed ice"

i have had the Samsung French Door Refrigerator # RF267ABRS for 16 months and from beginning ice maker leaks water before giving "crushed ice".

Have dealt with Samsung who say this is not a defect and this is "Normal". Now am working on the place where I bought the appliance as I have an extended warranty with them; however, Samsung keeps somehow getting involved and stops repairmen from coming or refuses to do anything about this problem. Last repairman sent me a photocopied sheet from internet where Samsung says that this is normal and you should wipe the ice chute before using or use only cubes???

What kind of terrible service is this anyways???!!! Will never buy a Samsung product ever again!!! :(

ice maker leaks water NEW
by: michele

the ice was leaking small amounts of water when using the crushed ice feature (why did they add that if they couldn't make one that works??). now..it leaks a small amount of water ALL the time directly into the ice tray. that freezes and blocks the ice from coming out since it all turns into one big block of ice. what a pia.
if anyone knows how to correct this problem..please post.
thanks..

samsung looks good.....but that's about it!

Samsung ice dispenser stinks!!!
by: Tim

This problem is the worst problem in our kitchen. We love having the convenience, but water goes everywhere no matter how much you try to catch it in the cup when going to crushed ice.
