LG Bottom Freezer Refrigerator.It is the worst refrigerator I have ever purchased. Bought In August 2010 for $2600.00 because we wanted an ice maker.

The ice maker is so small that with just two of us in the house, we never have ice, we have to purchase bags of ice and put in the bottom freezer,therefore taking space from the freezer portion.

We owned a GE Profile previous to this and the ice capacity was excellent. Had a service tech out Jan 2, 2011 to look at unit and he says very small ice maker nothing we can do.

So here we are stuck with an expensive refrigerator, that we could have spent 1/2 on without this useless ice maker. Very unhappy with unit. Never buy LG again!

LG Refrigerator

The freezer in the bottom of the refrigerator is a really great idea. I would purchase another bottom freezer refrigerator, but not the LG. It is the ice maker that makes this unit very poor. It only makes probably 40 cubes in a 24 hour period and is always out of ice. Poor excuse for an ice maker and you can purchase this same unit without ice maker for alot less money. Certainly not worth the extra money for this ice unit!

I personally think bottom freezer is good as we don't have more uses of freezer. Thanks for your review that not to buy this LG refrigerator.
