Completely Satisfied with "Kenmore Refrigerator # 253.6580250A"

In March of 2010, we purchased a Kenmore Refrigerator. The model # is 253.6580250A. This model was smaller than the GE refrigerator we previously used. It has a top freezer with an optional icemaker.

We have not had any problems with this refrigerator. It is a little louder than our previous one, but it works so much better. We purchased this refrigerator at Sears, so we accumulated points for our Shop Your Way Rewards card.

It's only 1% back, but I would rather have that money in my pocket. It cost $400 even. I had many issues with my previous refrigerator. I called G.E. and for a repairman to come out plus all the repairs it would have cost more than the Kenmore we bought.

My experience with calling a repairman has not been helpful. The Kenmore is an ordinary plain white refrigerator, no extras, but we are glad to have a refrigerator that is working well! I would highly recommend this refrigerator if you are looking something that works within a budget.

The unique thing about it is the humidity controlled crisper drawer. You can set it to low, somewhere in-between, or high. I am able to keep my salad much longer because of this drawer, and the salad tastes so much better.

This is not an energy star refrigerator, but it only cost $2 more/year than the energy star ones. We compared the savings and the energy star refrigerator was $200 more! We are completely satisfied with the Kenmore!
